As part of the Satsuma Partnership with Sunderland AFC, Satsuma provide an online presence for the Black Cats fans with rich content through social media channels and the SAFCFanHub.com.
To increase the interaction and reach of the Satsuma brand in relation to Sunderland AFC, we worked closely with Huggity to create an engaging online app showing a 360° photo of all of the fans at the Stadium of Light for Sunderland vs. Liverpool on 2nd January 2017.
The super high resolution picture, with over 40 billion pixels, allowed fans to zoom in to the picture, find themselves and share their image on Facebook and Twitter.
To create as much engagement as possible, we produced a full suite of assets to promote the FanPic before it was taken and to activate the picture once this was live. Assets included jumbo screen animations, perimeter boards, social media assets and programme adverts.
The FanPic proved to be very popular, with 5,643 fans tagging themselves at the game and sharing on Facebook and Twitter.
