In the run up to the festive period, Plusnet asked us to create some snappy online content to surprise and delight existing and potential customers. Any activity should fit into Plusnet’s mantra of “We Can’t Help But Help”.
We developed a simple yet effective social competition and CRM activity, with fun competitions giving the public the opportunity to win some impressive prizes just in time for Christmas!
There were two sets of activity, one tailored at business customers, and one tailored at the general public, to maximise the coverage for the campaign. We even created some christmas cards for Plusnet to give away during the festive season!
To engage and excite consumers, we created an animated game called #PawsToWin which ran on Facebook and Twitter for the weeks leading up to christmas.
The main prize winner was drawn randomly, and won a stocking full of luxury Christmas goodies worth £650, including premium toiletries and tech gadgets, luxury hampers and more! 25 lucky runners up also won their very own Plusnet personalised Christmas snow globe!
For business users, we ran a competition on social media and CRM, tailored around helping the winner have a fun, festive Christmas in their office. By submitting a picture of their dull offices, entrants got the chance to win a fantastic Christmas party, filled with decorations, food, and the odd glass of bubbly. This was followed up with five runners up, each who won a luxury Christmas party hamper.
As winners were announced, we coordinated prize fulfilment, contacting each winner and arranging delivery, with the race being on to get delivered throughout the UK before Christmas!
For the grand business prize, two Banana Kick little elves arrived at the prize winner’s place of work location to put up the Christmas tree, lay out the food and pour a glass of fizz!
