Asda Local challenged us to create a unique, footfall driving event and raise awareness of the store opening, whilst highlighting a point of difference from competitors in the local area.
Our answer was to create the George Pop Up Shop with samples of the George range, including men, women and children, and iPads available for online orders.
The event was held prior to the store opening at the Northwich Christmas Extravaganza which was a prime opportunity for high footfall.
We created a log cabin style market stall, brought to life by internal fascias, Christmas decorations and festive wear. Our style advisors invited passers by to enter our shop, offered fashion tips and advice on the clothing range and informed them about the store opening. We used iPads for online sales and to showcase the full brand range available.
We also held a competition so anyone that engaged with our style team was entered into a free prize draw to win a £100 Asda gift card. We also educated customers about all the exciting activity happening on opening day, including further opportunities to win prizes.
