Asda Local challenged us to create a unique, footfall-driving event that would raise awareness of a new store opening, showcase a preview of the George Christmas offering, and highlight a point of difference from competitors in the local area.
Our answer was the George Pop Up Shop, a log cabin-style market stall, brought to life by internal fascias, Christmas decorations and festive wear.
I was told the George chalet would look great but I didn’t think it would look this lovely! I love the twinkly lights on the Christmas tree!

The event was held prior to the store opening at the Northwich Christmas Extravaganza, which proved a prime opportunity for high footfall.
Our style advisors invited passers by to enter our shop, offered fashion tips and advice on the clothing range and informed them about the store opening. We used iPads for online sales and to showcase the full brand range available.
