Last year, residents of Tyldesley complained about having “the worst” Christmas tree in the country. ASDA wanted to cheer up the residents whilst also saying thank you to the Tyldesley community.
We worked alongside ASDA community to bring Christmas spirit back to the town. On the 30th of November, we created a festive market in Tyldesley.
A team of ASDA brand ambassadors handed out mince pies and hot chocolate and we hosted a Christmas lights switch-on which included a large northern light projection on to the side of the old chapel in the town square.
We also donated all of the equipment to the community to enable them to run the same event each year and continue the festive spirit.
We are all so happy that ASDA has been here this year. Nothing ever happens in our town, it’s made our year!
The event was fabulous and was well received by the local community. We can not thank you enough for bringing back the magic to Tyldesley, it has had a huge positive impact.
