Genting raises the stakes
Genting Casinos is part of the Genting Group, a truly global business founded in Malaysia 45 years ago. Within the UK, Genting is the largest casino operator with 45 casinos from Edinburgh to Plymouth, including five London casinos, the most renowned being Crockfords.
Here at Banana Kick we have been appointed to manage all marketing activity to support the main casino estate, including the initial task of managing the re-brand from the previous Mint, Circus and Maxims brands, to a nationally recognisable single brand – Genting Club and Genting Casino. This major project included the re-design and production coordination of all aspects of customer communication- both internal materials and database driven activity ensuring a single brand look across the full estate.
In addition, we have been made responsible for developing and implementing all national campaigns for 2012 and for managing individual casino marketing requirements.
As part of Genting Casinos ambitious plans for the UK, Banana Kick will be responsible for supporting the new build and refurbishment programme including the exciting new Genting Club Sheffield, due to open in Autumn 2012.
Genting Casinos is the main club sponsor for Premier League Club Aston Villa and Banana Kick is supporting the sponsorship through a combination of national promotions and activity aimed specifically at the Aston Villa fan base. This has included Genting Casinos’ first national promotion “Truly Premier” and activity supporting the main sponsorship games including the development of an innovative Facebook programme – Villa Moments.
This exciting account allows us to use the full breadth of skills available across the business within our key sports and leisure sector. We are delighted to be working with such a dynamic and ambitious organisation and look forward to a long-standing relationship.
